PROJECT LOGO

The pupils learnt about the meaning of logos and through a fun procedure they drew their own logos for the Erasmus program. In the end, there was a vote to choose the best one that fulfilled the specifications and represention of the program.























PROJECT GLOBAL PROBLEMS (Global Warming): Our grandparents’ winters

A presentation and a video interview.

Pupils will compare winters in the past and the present and discuss the differences (they will interview their grandparents, older inhabitants in their towns, compare old weather reports, chronicles, use weather proverbs).

PROJECT: ENDANGERED ANIMALS IN GREECE
Pupils:
learned about animals in danger of extinction in their area and generally in Greece,
found information about them using books and the internet,
painted and learned to recognize their basic features,
talked about respecting and trying to help them,
were informed about the Aegean Wildlife Hospital (ALKIONI).

PROJECT: BIRDHOUSES
Pupils also created 3 birdhouses using eco-friendly materials and their imagination.
They really enjoyed it!
(materials: wood, peanut butter, seeds, coins, cardbox, straws, rope, paints, pebbles, shells)





PROJECT: GREEK HERBARIA & VISIT TO AN OLIVE OIL PRESS

Students collected greek herbs, took photos of them, searched information about them using the school library and the internet and created a handmade herbaria. They also visited a local olive oil press (photos and video) and observed the whole procedure. Enjoy it! Please, enable full screen by clicking the "X" (see image below).

PROJECT: F&F (Flora, comparing seasons)

Pupils observed and searched how different types of weather and seasons influence the activities done for the vineyard and the olive tree. They also visited a local vineyard and an olive press and participated in the procedure "from collecting fruit to creating a product".
